Meat and Salsa:
1 1/2 lbs. organic ground beef or other meat
1-2 Tsp turmeric, salt, and cayenne pepper to taste
2-3 cups salsa
Shredded organic lettuce, I like to combine a romaine and spring mix.
Shredded organic cheese (I like white cheddar)
Organic sour cream or plain yogurt
Other ingredients like chopped onions if desired.
Brown hamburger and drain oil.
Season with turmeric, cayenne pepper, and salt.
**You could melt cheese in the meat when done cooking. Drain oil first though.
Add salsa to hamburger.
In a bowl, place lettuce, then the meat and salsa mix, then top with your toppings.
Beans are also a great add if desired. Soak black beans and/or other variety overnight and cook as package instructs. Then add to your salsa and beef mix.
