Writers' Weekend Retreat

Use this weekend to block out the time to feed your creativity while we feed your mind and body. Delicious, healthy meals will be provided while local authors will be available to share their wisdom. Come join us at The Homestead where you will have zero distractions from finishing that book that's been sitting for months, or finally getting started on that new idea.

FAQ

  • We are limiting this weekend so that only two writers will share a room. That means we only have space for 12 people on-site. We will open the retreat to up to six commuters.
  • Meals are prepared daily full of local, fresh, healthy and tasty ingredients. We can accommodate for food intolerances, but not allergies. Please email us if you need dairy-free, gluten-free, or vegetarian options at meals.
  • We have a No-Noise Policy between 11:30 PM and 6:30 AM so that everyone can get rested.
  • There is plenty of coffee, tea, and spring water on-site. Participants may bring alcohol, but please be respectful of people in recovery.
  • Wear comfortable clothes and bring layers. Walking shoes are great for breaks, and rubber boots if it has rained a lot.
  • You don't have to know anyone! People never leave The Homestead without new friends.
